Surfing...
Where I live surfing is part of the culture. It's a way to go be active, have fun and get tan. It's a sport that anyone can and try and anyone can get good at if they practice enough. You might take a few spills here and there, but at the end of the day you're getting better because of it.

Shopping...
I have never really been one to love shopping but I have recently discovered what brands and styles I actually like. Usually my shopping routine plays out like this: First, I make a list of the exact things I want, second, I go to the store and purchase them...No browsing around, I just go for what I want and leave when I find it. But makeup is a different story....

Her Morning Elegance...
The title of my blog came from the unique stop motion music video by Oren Lavie called "Her Morning Elegance." I first found the video when I was in the 6th grade and grabbed a "pick of the week" card from Starbucks. It was a free download for one music video which happened to be "Her Morning Elegance." I thought the video was so interesting that I decided to name my blog after it. You can watch the video here:

Chewbacca...
I have one dog and his name is Chewbacca. He is a mix of many different breeds and no one really is sure what he truly is. He's pretty small (around 8 pounds) but he thinks he's the size of an English mastiff. Between jumping off boats, breaking his leg twice and winding himself up in a pound 40 minutes from my house, he's proven to be one tough guy.

Photography...
I have always had a passion for photography ever since I was in the 1st grade and received my first polaroid camera. It was bright pink and Barbie-themed. My mom constantly had to remind me to slow down with the picture-taking because the film would eventually run out...but I didn't really listen. We were lucky if a few turned out good but most was garbage with either half of someones face or a dead flower in the frame. Over the years I have learned a lot and have hopefully improved since then.
Background...
Ever since I was little my family moved around a lot. 14 times to be exact. Ranging from Florida all the way to Washington state I have experienced so many different environments, cultures, fashions and food. After living in all these different places I discovered that I am happiest by the sea.
